2 down

Just finished round 2 of chemo. It went really well with no complications. I feel great right now probably because of the steriods I was pumped with. I asked if I could work out in the gym now and gain some extra muscle, but the doctor said it is not the same kind of steriod that builds muscle. I was a little dissapointed about that. However, the doctor said as long as I feel up to it he encourages me to work out as much as I can. Can't wait for that.

My father was was diagnosed with cancer, too, during American Idol. That show's seen me through some pretty heavy things. :)

I hope you get well. Fans support you, you know. May the chemo heal you completely and may you be strong enough to withstand the last ten cycles of it. And may God bless you, oh yes. :)

Hi Luke (and Mrs. Luke!)
Wishing you all the best. There is an old Native American teaching that I have loved during rough times - it is this: within every trial is a gift. When you keep your eyes on the gift, the trial is easier to bear. I hope and trust that you will find many gifts, because God in good. Take good care, 'smanda

Hi Luke: Funny you mentioned getting chemo as one of your interests. Optimism coupled with faith in God, prayers plus medical care are your weapons to win this battle. My mother was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Plan was for her to receive 8 rounds of chemo. That has changed because of her remarkable response. She will only get 6 and next week will be her last. Be strong and encouraged. May God bless you to be able to tolerate the treatment planned for your complete healing. Our prayers to you and your family. RC of NJ ^~^
