Happy Easter

I sang on Easter Sunday morning at Pleasant View in Crawfordsville, IN. It was an honor to spend the morning there and to be able to share my testimony.
Monday morning Lara and I hopped in the car and started driving to the East Coast to spend a couple days with our family. We are staying just north of Philly until Thursday and then I will be performing for "America Sings" in Washington, D.C. at Constitutional Hall. Then I drive to meet Chapter 6 in North Carolina for a few concerts with them again.
As I type this blog I am looking out into a yard next to the woods and watching four deer eat grass about 20 yards from where I am sitting. Its a really peaceful evening tonight and it's good to have time to rest for a couple days before I get back on tour for a couple weeks.
I don't have a single day off in the next few weeks so this down time is very nice right now. I will drive about 4,000 miles in the next 2 weeks while on tour. see you on the highway!
He is risen!

Happy belated Easter, Luke!

North of Philly, huh? You're close to my neck of the woods! I live in northeastern PA. :]

We get deer in our yard all the time here, and even if you see it all the time, it's still neat to watch them. Enjoy your downtime, and keep happily busy!

All the best,
-Kaitlin

HUGS and BLESSINGS dear ones!
I was wondering where you've been. Take care! Enjoy!
Carpe Diem!

We've had an opportunity to webcam chat w/ Jordan a couple times. So good to see his face. He's well. He took an overnight stay in Honolulu last weekend...a nice break from the base and was able to see many different things.
Oh, he even went snorkeling.
Mom has to get out there now.

Happy Easter back to you & your family. Hope you had a good rest because it sounds like you're going to be quite busy.

Let's see ... as I type this, I'm drinking my morning coffee while looking out into an apartment courtyard. No deer, but lots of birds & squirrels. I spoke too soon before, but I think I can say that we've FINALLY turned that corner into Spring. Enjoy the drives. I've added you fellas to my prayers for safety as you travel across the country.

I'd like to say that really admire how you share your cancer story.
Excuse my english please, I'm from Chile in south america, your music made a long trip to my ears.
Right now I'm listenig Killer Queen, performed by yourself on AI7.
It's really a shame I can't have access to more of your music as I wish...

Take care....

Oh my goodness, you were in my neck of the woods too (about 40 min North of Philly in NJ). It's incredibly boring here, but the one thing I do enjoy are the deer and all the other wildlife. Bunnies galore even when it's not Easter. I hope you enjoyed your R and R, but nice to hear the pace is picking up and you're keeping busy. You should post your tour schedule on your blog so we don't miss you and Chapter 6 if you are in town.

Luke! I see you've set up a Myspace Music page! The songs are GREAT! Are those from the recent concert?

I found this blog as I thought I saw you in the audience of American Idol behind Randy this week. (Was that you?) I was searching to see if there was anything on the web on whether or not you did attend the show this week. If so, I hope you had a great time. If not, it sure did look a lot like you.

Luke,

I'm saddened as I'm reading about the passing of David Cook's brother, Adam, from brain cancer. My sincere condolences & prayers to Adam's wife and children, their families & their friends.

Again, I applaud you and David for stepping up to the plate by working with cancer charities to raise awareness & money. May God continue to bless you both.

Hi Luke, you're right, Jesus is risen! Glad you had a good Easter. I too want to say I was saddened to hear of your friend David Cook's brother Adam passing away from cancer. :( God bless the Cook family and may cancer never come back on you Luke! God bless.
