Another song

Just co-wrote with Chris Sligh today at his house. We wrote a sweet song called "Comfortable." It is about learning to be comfortable with the uncomfortablility that the Lord puts us in at times. I hope to put this song here on the blog soon so that it can be listened to.
Tomorrow I will once again write with Adam Smith. Adam is a talented staff writer at Brentwood-Benson who I have written two other songs with already.
Lara and I are really enjoying our time we get together and we have already had Sushi twice and we have only been here for 24 hours.
We have gone Sushi crazy!

I can't eat sushi once let alone go sushi crazy. I can't wait to hear the new song. Also sounds like you and Chris get along fine. You are two of my favorite people!

I watched this past season of AI and was so disappointed when you were gone. God did have a reason though, didn't he? I am glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. Us dreadheads have been discussing the best ways to help you out. Gas cards? Money for medical bills? (I do not mean to offend...I know from exp. that every penny helps). Let me know-I will gladly do anything the Lord inspires me to do. And YOU, Luke Mernard, insprie me.

Hi Luke,

Just wanted to wave Hi from Crawfordsville and let you know that we are praying for you every day. I'm Bekah's friend from high school (we were folder partners in Mrs. Meek's Concert Choir!) and my grandparents go to your church. I've met you a couple of times when you were much younger, so I feel like I kinda sorta know you!

I was a big fan of Chris' during his run on AI. I can't wait to hear the new song! I really admire how you are chosing to praise God in the midst of the storm. I know sometimes it's hard to do, but you are an inspiration to us!

Have fun in Nashville...sushi? I can't even bring myself to try it!

Hi Luke,
I am a Chris Sligh fan and I read about this over on his blog. You had one of my favorite voices on the show this year, along with Jason Castro, but I have not kept up with any of this year's contestants like I do with Chris. I am excited that you are working on Christian music. I am bookmarking your blog and will be checking it daily from now on!

I will keep you and your wife in my prayers.
