Thanks to Dari-Licous

Lara and I would like to send out a huge thank you to Dari-Licous who sponsored a fund raiser to help Lara and I with our medical bills. We spent a little bit of time there after my chemo and it was amazing to see how many people showed up. I don't think I have ever seen so many cars in that parking lot at once. Thanks to all who showed up.
Lara and I have safely arrived in Nashville and we are settling in nicely and started the evening off with some Sushi.
Tomorrow morning I will start the week off with a co-writing session with Chris Sligh who was a top 10 American Idol finalist last season. He is now a well establised Christian singer/songwriter in Nashville and I look forward to meeting him tomorrow. You should check out his latest single entitled "Empty Me."
The rest of the week will be spent co-writing and recording with some of my favorite writers I have met in the Christian industry in Nashville.
Writing and recording has become great therapy for me at this time in my life. I have found some great inspiration through my trials. I thank the Lord for this.

That's wonderful to hear about your fund raiser Luke. It sounds like you and your fans had a wonderful time.

Thanks for telling us about Chris [Sligh]. I'm actually listening to him right now.
I didn't know that he was that good. And that's a good comment. hehe
When you see him tomorrow, tell him that "Arise" is now a favorite of mine.
I might have to go buy the entire album.
I am now a new fan of his. :)

Prayers for your chemo. I always come in here and see if you have updated or not. ;)
I can't wait for this new album you keep talking about it. I know it will be great.

I'm glad the fund raiser went well. Good luck with the writing. I love Chris's music and yes, Sarah he is that good.
I pray for you and your recovery everyday. Your gift needs to be shared.

Brother Luke -- just want you to know you're in my prayers, man.

May the week be both productive and inspiring. Our God is good, even though God's gifts sometimes don't look like such great gifts at the time.

Hang in there. Better times on the way.

I LOVE Chris Sligh! I can't wait to hear what you guys come up with!

Still praying for that amazing rest so you are strong for the battle ahead.

Hope you and Lara are getting to have some fun and relaxation in Nashville and not just working all the time. :)
