concert announcement....March 26th

On Thursday, March 26th at the Crawfordsville High School auditorium I will be playing with a band for the evening for the community. This concert is sponsored by Wabash College and it is to celebrate Cancer Awareness week. There will be a cancer awareness walk at Wabash College on the track the following day. The concert on March 26th will be free to the public. This is a first come first serve concert so there will be no reserving tickets in advance. Be sure to get to the venue early that night to reserve your seat for the concert.
I will be featuring some new original material that night that has been written over the past 6 months. Don't miss it!
Lara and I are off to Florida!

I haven't been by in awhile, but it's good to see that you are so busy! Unfortunately, the concert is too far away for me, but I'm still looking forward to that new album of yours! Oh, and I totally agree with your doctor about the whole "relapse" thing. :)

I'll be at the at the concert as well as getting pledges and doing the walk at Wabash. I totally believe in the whole "Pay It Forward" theme of life and since I'm a current cancer survior (actually in remission) I want to do what I can for cancer awareness in our community while I can.

God Bless Luke and hopefully I'll get to see you at these events.

I'll have to see if I can make the trip. However, with the great community support from the folks in Crawfordsville, it'll likely be standing room only.

Luke, it's very cool how you're "giving back" to support Cancer Awareness Week. A very important cause, indeed.

Have fun at Disney and with the AI Experience! And, Happy Birthday Lara. :-)

I sure wish i could attend the concert i too live far away. It is a good cause and i'm sure the material you have written is from your heart and soul. I believe when we are in trials, we write the best and can express ourselves the most for others to relate and to benefit from. I am sure it is very good material and would like to hear it very soon. Again, Lots of love, support, prayers, good health, success, safe travel, and the Lord's leading in your life, Love to you and Lara, Love, twotwo

Hey Luke. Did you make the trip to Canada for the "Disco Days" shows with Chapter 6? If so, we must see pictures! Maybe the Chapter 6 website can post them since they posted some from last year's show. You were on leave at that time, so I'm hoping we'll see you in that 70's garb this time!

How was the Disney Idol experience?

Luke,

Glad to hear about the concert. I hope to make it in order to hear the new original material. I find original music much more engaging and enjoyable to hear.

Peace,

Paul

Luke, I just found this blog, much to my chagrin. I do have a pretty large problem with your "favorite music" though. It seems more than a bit hypocritical to say "that show is horrible", when you were a contestant on it. Not every former Idol contestant is a great artist, for sure, but some are very solid. I think of, particularly, Kelly, Carrie, and David amongst the winners, and Daughtry, Bo, Elliot, and Jon Peter Lewis amongst the non-winners.

Ummm, K.Scott, I think Luke's joking about that.

K. Scott-
Yes, i was joking about the comment "that show is horrible." I loved every moment i spend in Hollywood on American Idol. And after being part of everything that happens behind the scenes on Idol made me love the show even more. Several of the contestants as well as American Idol itself helped me financially with some of my medical bills for my chemo/radiation treatments. If you had been following my blog for the past several months then you would know that I joke about alot of things. Sorry that was misunderstood.

Ah, my bad. Perhaps a "j/k" or a smiley or something would clarify it's a joke to those of us who are just now stumbling upon your blog. I know that I'm not the only one who's misunderstood it as a swipe at Idol. An A/I board I watch sometimes is where I found your blog, and someone had commented on the hypocrisy of it. I'm glad to know you were joking, and I'm also glad to know you're progressing well.
